10.2 Error - Cause - Remedies at a glance
Fault description Cause Remedy
The hoeing implement does not
drive straight on the track in
uneven terrain.
The support wheels do not stay
in the track.
Use track discs instead of support wheels.
Check and adjust lower link stabilisers.
The implement runs downhill. The implement is not designed
for slopes.
n Stabilise tractor with twin tyres.
n Stabilise the implement: Check and
adjust lower link stabilisers.
n Stabilise the implement with steel
wheels and track discs.
Knife on the knife holder or
sliding part is displaced.
Fastening screw for the leg has
become loose.
Re-establish the knife position. Tighten the
fastening screw.
The knife does not match the soil
conditions.
For stony soil, choose knife on the vibro
holder.
The working depth of the tools
has changed.
Fastening screw for the depth
adjustment wheel has become
loose.
Correct the depth of the hoeing element
(Basic or Combi). Tighten the fastening
screw.
Fastening screws on the hoeing
elements or tools have become
loose.
Check the bolted connections. If necessary,
retighten the screws.
The tools are working too
aggressively.
The hoeing implement is tilted
too far to the rear.
Align the hoeing implement horizontally
using the rear hydraulics of the tractor.
When driving with Section Con‐
trol the hydraulics react nerv‐
ously.
The dead band value between
set pressure and actual pressure
is set too low.
Set the dead band value higher.
Hydraulic elements do not react. With the control unit LS, the ball
valve above the hopper is open.
Close the ball valve LS.
The ow in the return hose is
interrupted.
Clean the return hose.
Ball valve B is open (thus the
hydraulic system is pressureless).
Close the ball valve B.
Valve clogged, dirt in the system. Clean the hydraulic system.
Hydraulic hoeing elements do
not react to commands from
Section Control
The hydraulic hoses are not con‐
nected correctly.
Connect the hydraulic hoses suitable for the
control unit (LS, DW, EW). Observe the col‐
ours.
Lifting of the hoeing implement
is slow or not possible at all.
Two control units DW are sub‐
jected to continuous ow.
n If possible, connect the hoeing imple‐
ment with LS + P + T.
n If possible on the tractor, assign priori‐
ties to the functions.
