6.4 Test run
A test run is necessary:
n Prior to starting work:
To ensure the hoeing implement has been adjusted correctly
n Each time the crop or eld is changed

Chapter 6.2 ‘Basic operation’ on page 56
Procedure:
1. Lower the rst hoeing element. Drive a few metres through the
existing crops.
2. Check the result. If necessary, correct the settings.
3. When the rst hoeing element is working properly, lower the next
hoeing element and drive a few metres through the existing crops.
4. Check the result. If necessary, correct the settings.
5. Repeat this process until all the hoeing elements have been low‐
ered.
6. When working manually with Section Control: Lift and lower the
hoeing elements at the push of a button.
7. When working with the GPS function of Section Control: Check that
the hoeing elements are automatically lifted and lowered at the
eld edges and on the contours of the transverse rows.

When all hoeing elements are working correctly, the test run
has been completed.
INFORMATION
– After the test run, check tight t of the screws and
pegs on the hoeing elements.
– If necessary: Tighten the screws, attach the pegs.
