4.8.2 DRAIN Function To access Manual Drain functions, proceed as follows:
From Manual Control Menu, press DRAIN touch pad.
NOTE: During Manual Drain, note the following:
1) Only available options are displayed. If alkaline tank, acid tank or
cooldown tank are not present, corresponding selections are not
displayed.
2) If necessary, manual functions can be aborted at any time by
pressing touch pad corresponding to manual function selected.
4.8.3 Draining Sump To drain sump manually, proceed as follows:
1. From Drain Menu, press SUMP touch pad.
2. If sump is not already full, it is filled to prevent recirculation pump
from running dry during draining sequence.
3. When sump is full, draining sequence starts.
4. Pump runs for DRAIN TIME. If unit is provided with a cooldown
tank and cooldown tank is not empty, it is drained prior to drain-
ing sump.
5. When cooldown tank (option) is empty, sump is drained.
NOTE: Draining sump can be aborted at any time by pressing
DRAIN touch pad again.
4.8.4 Draining Alkaline Tank To drain Alkaline Tank manually, proceed as follows:
1. From Drain Menu, press ALK. TANK touch pad.
2. Alkaline tank water is transferred to sump.
3. When sump is full, jet valve(s) closes, sump drain valve(s) opens
and recirculation pump(s) turns on.
4. Pump runs for DRAIN TIME. This procedure is repeated until
sump is not filled within TNK DRAIN time.
5. Pump runs for DRAIN TIME.
NOTE: Draining Alkaline tank can be aborted at any time by
pressing ALK. TANK touch pad again.
4.8.5 Draining Acid Tank To drain Acid Tank manually, proceed as follows:
1. From Drain Menu, press ACID TANK touch pad.
2. Acid tank water is transferred to sump.
3. When sump is full, jet valve(s) closes, sump drain valve(s) opens
and recirculation pump(s) turns on.
