2 Safety
2.1 Intended use
The machine is for use in a professional working environment (e.g. a materialographic laboratory).
The equipment is designed to be used only with Struers consumables specifically designed for this
purpose and this type of machine.
The machine is for professional manual or semi-automatic materialographic preparation (grinding or
polishing) of materials for further materialographic inspection.
The machine must be operated only by skilled/trained personnel.
Manual preparation LaboPol-30 is intended to be used in combination with:
• LaboUI
Semi-automatic preparation LaboPol-30 is intended to be used in combination with:
• LaboForce-50
• LaboForce-100 with or without LaboDoser-100
• LaboForce-Mi
