Remove the plug from lower of the breather
chamber hose.
Release the dry internal deposit.
Every 2,000 kilometers release oil
Caution
y A In releases the breather chamber hose in
the transparent section as worthy of looking
at as any deposit
y In the multi- rain or the accelerator in the
situation rides, must reduce the maintenance
traveling schedule
y In releases the breather chamber hose in the

Valve Clearance
Caution
y Checks and adjustment must be performed
when the engine temperature is below 35℃.
Remove luggage box.
Remove cylinder head cover & side cover.
Remove ignition timing hole cap located in front
upper side of engine right cover
Turn camshaft bolt in C.W. direction and let the “T”
mark on the camshaft sprocket aligns with cylinder
head mark so that piston is placed at TDC position
in compression stroke.
Caution
y Do not turn the bolt in C.C.W. direction to
prevent from camshaft bolt looseness.
Valve clearance inspection and adjustment:
Check & adjust valve clearance with feeler gauge.
Valve clearance (IN):0.10±0.02 mm.
Valve clearance (EX):0.15±0.02 mm.
Loosen fixing nut and turn the adjustment nut for
adjustment.
Caution
y Re-check the valve clearance after tightened
the fixing nut.
