6. TROUBLESHOOTING & CONFIGURATION
To correctly perform the troubleshooting operations, the following is required: Laptop, USB- Micro
USB cable.
6.1 PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW WHEN REPLACING
COMPONENTS
6.1.1
When replacing the display:
1. With a USB-MICRO USB cable, connect the equipment to the laptop
2.Update the SW to the latest released version. For details, refer to §”5.1 SW UPDATE (VIA PC
USING THE USB-MICRO USB CABLE)”
If necessary, write the machine serial number and set the correct machine type by pressing
“CHANGE MACHINE TYPE” button on Equipment Software Loader.
6.1.2
When replacing the Brake Board:
1. With a USB-MICRO USB cable, connect the equipment to the laptop.
2. Update the FW to the latest released version. For details, refer to §”5.1 SW UPDATE (VIA PC
USING THE USB-MICRO USB CABLE)”
6.2 EQUIPMENT TESTING AFTER THE
INTERVENTION OF TECHNICAL SERVICE
After a technical service intervention, the technician MUST check - in the same conditions in which
the customer discovered the problem - that the fault has been resolved.
The technician MUST also perform the following standard operating tests:
• Check that the equipment is stable on a at surface;
• Switch on the equipment and start an exercise:
- Pedal and check that the speed indicator varies;
- Check that the hardness of the exercise and the level of diculty varies when you
press the lever of the diculty level ;
• Check the presence / the state of wear of warning labels. Check if the warning labels ar-
ereadable.
• Check the correct reception of the signal transmitted by heart rate monitors
