6.6 WRONG RESISTANCE DURING EXERCISE
If the Brake Board is programmed with a wrong FW: it causes communication problems be-
tween the High Kit and the Low Kit. If the Brake Board is programmed with a compatible
FW but dedicated to a dierent machine: the equipment functions but with wrong level of
resistance during exercise.
Wrong resistance during exercise
Update the fw of the brake board. Upload the brake table.
Is the problem solved?
OK. Problem solved. Is the mechanical system (pedals, belt, brake)
fluid, without providing resistance above the norm?
YESNO
YES
Does the RPM sensor send the
correct signal to the brake board? [1]
Repair / adjust the necessary
components. [*]
NO
Is there continuity between the brake board
and the electromagnetic brake?
Are the detection screws present and/or
assembled in the right way?

[*]: Make sure the problem is solved. See paragraph: “6.2 Equipment testing after the intervention
of technical service”
[**]: When replacing components see the paragraph “6.1 Procedure to follow when replacing com-
ponents”.
[1]:The speed signal can be measured in empirical way. Pedal for 10 sec and count the number
of pedals revolutions. Multiply by 6 and verify that the value shown on the display is similar to the
calculated value.
