Stylus monitoring: activate or deactivate the stylus monitoring.
By programming the height (distance) stylus-part to be marked for each marking file (see
marking parameters) and a maximum drift not to be exceeded, the marking machine will
analyse the results of the marking and memorise the computed values, when this mode is
activated. If the programmed drift is exceeded, a warning is activated:
o If card 8E/S is present, the output « Stylus fault” is activated, otherwise the standard
output “Pause Machine” is activated.
o The warning is stylus worn or head getting nearer depending on the direction of the
drift
o The machine will indicate a maximum number of possible characters before
maintenance.
More, when the filling function is activated (see TechnoProd function) the minimum,
maximum and average values, number of measurements and drift-type are recorded as well
as others archives data.
This function is not available for a Multi4 Mini 60x30 marking head.
Lubrication: The LED turns red if your machine requires lubrication. (every 500,000 impacts) .
Once Stylus has been lubricated, press « 1 » on the keyboard to clear the warning.
XY revision: The LED turns red if your machine requires servicing for the X and Y axis. (10,000
m covered)
General revision: The LED turns red if your machine requires general maintenance. (the
machine has been marking for 1000h)
Maintenance required: The LED turns red if your machine requires a return to workshop
(after one year of use.)
D Axis revision: The LED turns red if your machine requires D Axis servicing. (20,000 turns
completed)
Z Axis revision: The LED turns red if your machine requires Z Axis servicing. (10,000 m
covered)
