Used RS-485 communication to read the absolute encoder data; UN-24 (data length 1 word) and
UN-25 (data length 2 words) must be used to read the multi-turn data of the encoder and the position
data in a single turn.

“Absolute encoder multi-turn data limit value”
Multi-turn data limit value is used when performing position control for rotating objects such as
rotating platforms. For example, machines that move only toward in one direction.
Since it only rotates toward in one direction, sometimes it will exceed the multi-turn maximum limit
that can be counted by the absolute encoder; the changing method of the multi-turn position
information is as shown in the figure below.
