Feedback parameter confirmation
After setting the linear motor electrical parameters, first, push the linear motor manually
Use Un-14 (motor feedback-number of pulses within one pole of movement) and
Un-16 (motor feedback-moving distance) to confirm whether the value of the motor
optics is correct. You can push the mover and confirm again whether the Un-14 &
Un-16 display matches the setting of the optical scale.
For example: “Linear motor specification: Maximum distance=36mm/360 degrees,
optical scale resolution 0.5um/pulse”
When pushed 48mm, the position information increased by 36mm ÷ 0.5um/pulse =
72000 pulse
Un-14 increased by 24000
Un-16 increased by 1
Confirm whether the Hall signal is inputted into the driver correctly through dn-03
(digital input contact signal status) and Un-31 (digital input contact status).
Linear motor related abnormal alarm elimination
AL.032 linear motor alignment abnormal: (1) Confirm whether the power cable and encoder wiring
are connected correctly; (2) Confirm whether the resolution of the optical scale is set correctly; (3)
Reset the magnetic pole alignment current and realign.
AL.036 linear motor not yet aligned: Please complete alignment first and then excite the motor.
AL.052 external sensor over-temperature: (1) Please correct the operation method when it overheats
repeatedly; (2) Confirm whether the setting values of Cn009.3 and Cn086 are correct.
