4.2. System assembly
4.2.1. Parts check
Check that the main parts listed below have been receipted. Change lifting device to:
4.2.2. Fitting the main unit on to the longitudinal guide rail
Place the longitudinal guide rail on an even well supported surface, and then carefully feed the main
unit on to the rail guide (it is recommended that this is done with two people). Gently feed the main
unit on to the guide rail until the main unit drive assembly is fully engaged with the drive rack. The
main unit will now travel freely on the guide rail. Ensure that the guide rail end stop is fitted; tighten
to prevent the main unit from disengaging the guide rail. Failure to fit/tighten the end stop could
result in personal injury and or damage to the main unit.
