Returning to Auto Mode MORE [F6] menu, the re-orientation process can be stopped, press the [F3]
key. The degree of re-orientation is logged in the system, the process can be repeated as required.
9.4.2.6.3. Mirror [F4]
This function lets the operator invert a profile part, creating an exact opposite hand duplicate.
Pressing the [F4] key in succession, the software scrolls through the options of:
MIRROR X/Y, use the X option to invert the image (Left/Right). Use the Y option to invert the image
(Up/Down).
9.4.2.6.4. Scale [F5]
The SCALE function lets the operator increase or decrease the size of a programmed profile part.
Press the [F5] key, the on-screen prompt requires an input value lesser or greater than the actual size
of 1 to 1, 1.000 = 100%. Press the [F5] key to return to the Auto Mode MORE menu, the size input
value will be logged for re-use, the value can also be reset to zero in this process.
9.4.2.6.5. Nest [F6]
When using the Nest function, a profile part or multiple parts can be nested using the system
software. The feature uses columns and rows to optimize the positioning of the parts. The process
requires a program to be generated prior to the nesting process. Press [F6] to start the process.
Input the total number of rows (stacked format) and the total number of columns (aligned Left to
Right). The system software automatically calculates the optimum spacing based on the profile part
size. The Row-Offset feature optimizes the spacing of round or irregular shaped profile parts.
Upon completion of entering the input values, press [ENTER] the nest is then formed. The nest
image is shown on the screen.
In the Mode/Status section, ARRAY is shown to indicate the formation of a nest from a profile part,
the nest feature can be stopped when pressing the [F6] key in the Auto MORE menu.
