5.1. Prior to operating the system
5.1.1. Input voltage settings
The CNC unit is pre-adjusted from the production on 230VAC. If you need input voltage 110VAC,
open the CNC unit and switch the switching power supply to your desire input voltage.

is to be sited on a well-supported foundation, ensure it is leveled prior to use, do not
walk or step on the rail.
5.1.3. Oxy fuel nozzle choice
Reference the cut-charts; select the correct size cutting nozzle according to the thickness of the steel
plate. Select a larger size nozzle if the steel is heavily rusted, or for bevel cutting at angles greater
than 20°.
5.1.4. Regulated gas supply
The EX-TRACK
®
CNC Cutting System requires a regulated supply of oxygen and fuel gas, the use of
an unregulated gas supply can cause damage to the system and lead to personal injury or death.
Regulators are required to suitably control the flow of gases, incorrect pressures can result in, but be
not limited to, poor cut quality and reduced lifetime of consumables.
5.1.5. Oxy fuel cut charts
The cut charts are a guide for the operator, due to the varying types and quality of steel, climatic/
atmospheric conditions, it is advisable to make the relevant setting and adjustments to suit the work
in hand.
