9.4.1. Interfaces and inputs
9.4.1.1. Speed
In automatic mode: left upper corner of the screen shows F % (automatic processing speed/feed
rate, the actual cut speed is calculated by taking the maximum cut speed and multiplying it by the
feed rate.
In manual mode: left upper corner of the screen shows F %, the manual traverse feed rate as a
percentage of max traverse, the actual speed is calculated by taking the maximum speed and
multiplying it by the feed rate.
Speed
This shows the actual value, the feed rate is controlled by the use of [F↑] [F↓] keys.
Press [F] feed rate speed setting directly on the screen, and press [enter] to confirm.
Note: the speed shown in the display can be in Metric or Inch increments, changes can be made in
Setting-Parameters-Control, Metric/Inch option.
9.4.1.2. Prog, pierce, kerf
As displayed at the top of the screen, PROG shows the title of the actual program being run. PIERCE
shows the actual completed number of pierces in a running program. KERF shows the kerf offset
input value.
9.4.1.3. Work mode - running status
Work mode bar shows: the current work status, CONTOUR, ROTATE, MIRROR, SCALE, NEST or
BRAKE. Operational information bar indicates: machine activity or stopped, various system limit
alarms and dwell period.
9.4.1.4. Input and output signals
The EX-TRACK
®
CNC System utilizes 8 input and 8 output ports. The display shows visual signals
indicating the status of each input and output. The Input/output port is used for system diagnostics.
9.4.1.5. System parameters display
Indicates current parameter values.
