Fault This may
mean
Cause Solution
USB stick
cannot be read
• Try a different
brand of USB
stick.
• The USB stick may
not be compatible
with this CNC.
• Use only a compatible USB
stick.
• Check the file
system format on
the USB stick.
• The USB stick
may be formatted
incorrectly. This
CNC only supports
FAT or FAT32 file
systems.
• Reformat the USB stick to FAT
or FAT32 format using a PC.
• Check the
USB port and
USB stick
connector for any
accumulation of
dust or soot.
• Metallic dust may
short signals.
• With input power off, clean
any foreign material from
the USB port and the USB
stick connector using non-
conductive tool and vacuum.
Keep cover closed over USB
port.
• Inspect condition
of USB port
and USB stick
connector.
• Damaged or
broken pins/
contacts can disrupt
operation.
• Discard and replace any
damaged USB stick. Replace
the USB port if damaged.
The system
returns to the
main menu
after a program
is started.
• Select a different
program and test
the system.
• If the other
programs will run,
there is a problem
with the original
program.
• Check the program.
• If no program will
run, there may be
a problem with the
parameter settings.
• Record the settings for
Numerator and Denominator
in the SYSTEM Parameters.
Then reset the factory
parameters. Reboot the
system and then re-enter
the recorded values for
Numerator and Denominator.
Save the parameters and test
the system performance.
