Overview of Map Plates features
Map Plates is used for the following purposes.
•
Creation of an OpenArray
™
Plate file in CSV format (OA.csv). This file is used in the Quick Run
workflow without sample information.
•
Creation of a 384-well sample plate file (CSV) to start a run on the QuantStudio
™
12K Flex
OpenArray
™
AccuFill
™
System with the Quick Run workflow with sample information.
•
Mapping of samples in 96-well plates to a 384-well plate (CSV).
This is used if samples are prepared in 96-well plates. The sample plate file can be used as a
reference when transferring samples from a 96-well plate to the appropriate location in a 384-well
plate.
•
Correcting for loading the 384-well sample plate in a reversed orientation with the plate rotation
feature.

Configure the experiment design to map the plates
A sample plate file (CSV file) is not required. See “File formats” on page 11.
Navigate to the Map Plates screen.
