Instrument by wiping it with a clean, dry cloth.
IMPORTANT! Do not use solvents.
Clean the inside of the instrument
For routine cleaning, use DNA ExitusPlus reagent or 80–95% ethanol.
Note: For chemical hazard alerts, see Appendix E, “Safety”.
1.
Remove the waste bin from the instrument deck.
CAUTION! Wear appropriate personal protection equipment while handling the waste bin.
2.
Spray the bin with the cleaning solution and wait 10 minutes.
3.
If using DNA ExitusPlus reagent, rinse the bin with tap water to wash away the solution.
4.
Rinse the bin with ethanol.
5.
Allow the bin to dry for 5 minutes before using it again. Make sure the part is completely dry before
loading the next plate.
