Perform a plate holder test
The plate holder test determines if the instrument holds and senses the OpenArray
™
Plate correctly.

Click Service4Diagnostics.
2.
Select the Plate Holder Test tab.
3.
Select or deselect the checkboxes that correspond with the OpenArray
™
Plate holders to test.

OpenArray Plate 2
•
OpenArray Plate 3
•
OpenArray Plate 4

Enter a number in the Run 1 of field.
The number specified in this field is the total number of times that the instrument performs the
plate holder test sequentially.

Click Start test.
The status of each task in the plate holder test is displayed.

Perform a loading test
The loading test determines if the instrument performs the tasks associated with loading the
OpenArray
™
Plate correctly.
The test is set up with a quick run workflow (see Chapter 6, “Set up and start the run with the quick run
workflow”).
A sample plate and a waste bin are required.
An OpenArray
™
Plate and at least one tip box are optional.
Place the items that are used during the loading test on the deck.
