Daily care
• Dust is a formidable foe to the instrument.
To ensure the production of fine images, care should be taken not to allow fingerprints and/or
dirt on the objective lens.
When not in use, be sure to cap the objective lens and cover the instrument with the dust
cover.
If the objective lens is stained, clean it following the instructions for "Cleaning the objective
lens" on page 96.
• When not in use, always turn the OFF ( ).
Ordering consumables
• When ordering consumables and spare parts, contact your dealer or TOPCON (see the back
cover) and tell them the article name, article code and quantity.
CAUTION
To prevent damage and injuries, do not install the instrument on an
uneven, unsteady or sloping surface.
CAUTION
To avoid injury by falling off, make sure that the digital camera is cor-
rectly installed.
