Boom Sensor Calibration
TheboomsensorcalibrationrequiresthePitchandRollcalibration.Whenperformingtheboom
sensorcalibration,alaserisrecommendedtocorrectlypositiontheboomatzerodegrees.
Positionthemachineonaflatandstablesurfacefreeofobstructions,androtatethebodyparallelto
thetracks.
1. Placeazerosloperotatinglaseralongthesideofthemachinetoshineonboththeboompivot
andstickpivot.
2. Adjustthelaserheighttostrik ethecenteroftheboompivo t(Figure30).
3. Movetheboomtoalignthestickpivotwiththelaser
(Figure30).
