Oncethe sensorsarenamed,assignedtoamachineelement,andtheorientationisselected,
calibrateeachsensorusing3D‐MC.Asensorcalibrationcanbeperformedatanytime.
Body Sensor Calibration
Thebodysensorcalibrationrequiresboththepitchandrollcalibrations.Performboth calibrationsat
thesametimetoensureaccuratemeas urements.

1. Positionthemachineonaflatandstablesurface,freeofobstructions.
2. Curlthestickandbucketinascloseaspossibletoreducetippingerrors.
3. Rotatethebodyparalleltothetracks(position1).
4. In3D‐MC,tapTopconMenuButtonControlMachinesetup.Selecttheapplicablemachine
fileforthejob,andtapEdit.TapNexttonavigatetotheExcavatorFrame/Sensorsscreen.
5. TaptheWrenchiconthatcorrespondstothebodysensor.
Thebestpracticeistoperformthemachinecalibrationsasorderedinthismanual.
Performingthecalibrationsoutoforderwillnotaffectsystemperformance.Theexception
tothisiswhenusingadog‐bonesensor.Youmustcalibratethesticksensorbefore
calibratingthe dog‐bonesensor.
Starting Position
Rotate 180°
