1.3 Functional principal
The DB 2090 ST is a stationary machine. The machine consists of a
machine body, which is fastened on a basic frame. The switchgear cabinet and the
hydraulic aggregats are on the outside range. In the inside range of the basic frame
are the hydraulic valve block and control lines. In the machine body is the main
cylinder, which propels a circulating chain. Over it the circulating chain the bending
arm is moved.
The bend die and clamp die are attached and locked with a groove feather/spring
connection. The pressure die is put by means of notched pins into the
associated connection plate and fastened by set-screws.
The tubes are put from the frontside between bend die and clamp die into the
machine. The actual bending procedure is implemented according to the attached
flow diagram. This machine permits a bending of tubes in the hand operating mode,
e.g. for adjustments, individual manufacture and small series. Further the machine
has an automatic operating mode, which is suitable for processing series and is
released over Start – button at the control panel.
