General safety instructions
23
The operating personnel must make sure that no unauthorised persons remain within
the operating area of the machine.
Once the machine has been switched off, the operating personnel must wait until
all mobile parts have come to a standstill and the function lamps have been
extinguished before leaving the machine.
3.6 Safety precautions during servicing
The servicing tasks defined in the operating manual - tuning, cleaning, lubrication,
maintenance, inspection, ... - must be performed when due.
Consider also the special data, operating and maintanance instructions for
the individual components in this manual (see appendix).
Before performing the servicing work, you must observe the following:
Switch off the central power supply with the master switch, lock the master
switch and put up a warning sign prohibiting switching it on again.
Make sure that all machine parts have cooled down to room temperature.
Make sure that suitable lifting gear and weight-carrying equipment is available
for replacing large machine parts.
Block off access to the operating area of the machine.
Replace all defective machine parts immediately.
Use only original replacement parts.
