3.9 Special types of dangers
3.9.1 Hazard due mechanical danger
Note that during working of the machine mechanical dangers are present - as for
example:
DANGER OF SEQUEEZING!
Never in-seize in the clamping area of the machine, the danger of
squeezing the upper member masses exists.
Never stay in the work and swivelling area of the machine, the
danger of squeezing and seizing of the body exists.
DANGER!
By working on hydraulic equipment it exist the danger, that liquids
can spray under high pressure.
3.9.2 Hazard due noise
The continuous sound pressure level at the workplaces of the operating personnel is
75 - 85 dB (A).
Depending on the local conditions, higher sound pressure levels can occur, which
can cause deafness, loss of balance or diminished alertness. In this case the
operating personnel must be provided with adequate personal protective equipment.
