LIMITED WARRANTY
TROXLER EL ECTRONIC LA BORATORIES, I NC., and s ubsidiary, TROXL ER
INTERNATIONAL, L TD., he reinafter re ferred to a s “T ROXLER,” wa rrants thi s
instrument, Model 3430 Plus or 3440 Plus, Serial Number , against defects
in material and w orkmanship f or a pe riod of 1 8 months from da te of shi pment. Fo r
gauges sold through authorized TROXLER representatives, the date of ship ment will
be as of the transfer from representative to purchaser. During the applicable warranty
period, TROXLER’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited exclusively to the
repair a t no c harge, e xcept for shipping to a nd fr om TR OXLER’S pla nt, of a ny
instrument w hich m ay prove de fective unde r n ormal use a nd w hich T ROXLER’s
examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective. Normal use is defined
for the purpose of this warranty as operation under normal load, usage, and conditions
with proper car e an d m aintenance an d co mpetent s upervision. In no ev ent s hall
TROXLER be held liable for da mages, delays, or losse s consequential, incidental, or
otherwise attributable to the failure of this instrument or radioactive material contained
therein. TR OXLER’s lia bility be ing spe cifically lim ited to repair a s sta ted
hereinabove. This warranty is a utomatically initia ted e xcept whe re m odified by
contractual or other written and signed agreement.

EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL O THER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR

ANYONE TO ASSUME F OR I T ANY OTH ER LI ABILITY I N
CONNECTION WITH THE S ALE OF THE I NSTRUMENT. THIS

PART THE REOF, WHI CH HAS BE EN S UBJECTED TO DAMA GE BY
ACCIDENT, NE GLIGENCE, ALTERATION, A BUSE, MI SUSE, O R

DAMAGE TO I NCLUDE BUT NO T BE LI MITED TO BURNI NG OF
CIRCUIT BOARDS AND HA RNESS F ROM I MPROPER S OLDERING
TECHNIQUES A ND DAMAG E T O THE I NSTRUMENT DU E TO
PURCHASER’S F AILURE TO PERFORM MAI NTENANCE AS
OUTLINED I N THE AUTH ORIZED OP ERATOR’S MANUAL. DUE TO
THE NATURE OF THEI R US E, M ECHANICAL ACCESSORY P ARTS
AND BAT TERIES ARE WARRA NTED F OR 9 0 DA YS ONLY F ROM
DATE OF SHIPMENT.
