Like other types of larg e pow er eq uipm ent, the UPS and battery circuit breaker box/battery
cabin et have h igh voltage in side. A s the com p onents w ith high voltag e can b e accessed only
w hen the front door is open ed, the risk of contacting high voltage has been m inim ized. T his
equipm ent m eets the IP20 stan dard , and the other safety shields are provided inside the
equipm ent.
Th ere w ill not be any risk w hen operating this equipm ent according to the general
instructions and the steps recom m ended in this m anual.
W ARN ING ! M ultiple p ow er inputs (For users)
Th is U P S system receives pow er from m ore than one sou rce. D isconnection of all AC source
and the DC sou rce is required before servicing.
Th is U P S has several circu its th at are energized w ith high AC as w ell as D C voltages. Check
for voltage with both AC and DC voltm eters before wo rking within the U PS.
W ARN ING ! W hen in ternal fuse of the UP S is dam aged, it m ust be replaced with fuse of the
sam e electric param eters b y qualified p ersonnel.
IM PO R T A N T ! The com m unication board is sensitive to electro-static discharge, im plem en t ES D
prevention m easu res w hen managing any com m un ication board.
W ARN ING ! T he user m ust select an appropriate M C C B to protect again st short circuit and
overload for the battery. W e recom m end using Vertiv BCB box to provide a better solution.
N O T E: The U P S m eets the standard requ irem en t of short tim e withstand current of 10 kA . The
specified upstream fu ses are required to obtain the con ditional short circuit current rating, Icc at 65
kA sym m etrical rm s. It is recom m ended to select the fuses in com p liance w ith voltage of 690 V,
curren t of 80 0 A an d breaking of 200 kA. The sp ecified up stream fu ses sh ould com ply with an IE C
60269 Part 4 stand ard.
N O T E: Bypass SCR is only p rotected ag ainst short circuit w hen adeq uate capacity of fuses/circu it
breaker are present in the upstream distrib ution.
