8.3.2.3 SETTING THE BELT TENSION FOR VU 3

Procedure:
1. Using an Allen wrench, open bolts (1) by one revolution.
2. Using a torque wrench, tighten screw (2) with the torques listed below.
The use of a USAG 824A/2.5 torque wrench is recommended.
Reciprocator, VU 3–2000 = 12 Nm; 8.85 lb ft
3. Retighten bolts (1).
4. Reattach the front cover on the reciprocator.
If no torque wrench is available, then proceed as set out below.
