Draining Engine Oil
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
• Be sure to stop the engine before changing the oil.
• Allow engine to cool down sufficiently, oil can be hot and
can burn.
1. To drain the used oil, remove the drain plug (1) at the bottom of
the engine and drain the oil completely into the oil pan.
2. After draining, reinstall the drain plug (1).
3. Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick (2).
IMPORTANT
• Use DPF-compatible oil (CJ-4) for the engine.
• Never mix two different types of oil.
