Unable to Send a Scanned Document over the Network (FTP/SMB)
Follow the procedure below if you cannot send a scanned document over the network.
No
Cause The Salutation port is not enabled on the machine.
Action Enable the Salutation port.
Refer to the Network Administrator Guide for details.
Cause The network between the computer and machine is abnormal.
Action Check with your network administrator.
Unable to open a mailbox. Cause The mailbox is unregistered.
No Action Register the mailbox.
Refer to "Mailbox" (P.322).
Cause The mailbox passcode has been forgotten.
Action The passcode cannot be verified. Ask the system administrator
for setting the passcode to [Off], and then set the passcode
again.
Refer to "Mailbox" (P.322).
Unable to import data from
the scanner due to a
TWAIN transmission error.
Cause The scan driver is not installed.
No Action Install the scan driver.
Operation halts during
scanning.
Cause The file size is too large.
No Action Lower the resolution, and import again.
Refer to "File Format (Selecting a File Format for Output Data)"
(P.192).
A Transmission Report -
Undelivered is output.
Cause Unable to transmit due to the error.
Action Check the [Transmission Results] in the Transmission Report -
Undelivered. If the error code is listed, refer to "Error Code"
(P.452).
A Transmission Report -
Undelivered is output.
Cause Unable to transmit due to the error.
No Action Check the [Transmission Results] in the Transmission Report -
Undelivered. If the error code is listed, refer to "Error Code"
(P.452).
Unable to send data over
the network.
Cause The server is not correctly specified.
Action Correctly specify the server.
Cause The save destination is not correctly specified.
Action Correctly specify the save destination.
