5.3.3.6 Test Tab

The Test tab (shown above) contains the software copyright notice and version level. It also enables the
printing of the following test documents:
Configuration Sheet: Prints the printer’s current configuration.
Demonstration Page: Prints a demonstration page showing the main features of the printer.
Technician’s Note: The demonstration page states that standby mode uses “less than 18 Watts” of
power. The true value is 10 Watts.
5.4 The Diagnostic Control Unit (DCU)
The Diagnostic Control Unit (DCU) (600T80340) is a pocket-sized test instrument that enables a variety
of diagnostic tests and provides a coded digital readout which is used to monitor printer functions.
