CseJtag Tcl Commands
::chipscope::csejtag_tap get_device_count
This subcommand is used to get the number of devices in the current JTAG chain.
Note: The JTAG target must be locked by using the ::chipscope::csejtag_target lock
subcommand before calling this subcommand.
Syntax
::chipscope::csejtag_tap get_device_count handle
Arguments
Returns
The number of devices in the chain.
An exception is thrown if the subcommand fails.
Example
Obtain the number of devices in the JTAG chain.
%set deviceCount [::chipscope::csejtag_tap get_device_count $handle]
