Scenario 2: HFA II-i (one or more) and HFA3 (one or more) Data Synchronization
Step Description
Scenario 2: Turn ON Data Synchronization for One or More Data Synchronization HFA II-i and HFA3
1. Meet precondition requirements. • Ensure that all the HFA II-i instruments are version 5.0 or 5.1 and connected to the same
network.
• Ensure that all the HFA3 instruments are version 1
.5 and connected to the same network.
Note: One HF
A3 will be identified for connection for each HFA II-i. More than one HFA II-i can
be connected to one HFA3.
If there are two or more HFA3 instruments, choose one to connect
the HFA II-i. The HFA3
instruments are synchronized and include the HFA II-i test in the synchronization.
2. Allocate static IP address. Allocate a Static IP address for each
HFA3 instrument that will be connected to an HFA II-i.
3. Disable DHCP and enter static IP
addr
ess.
For the HFA3 that will be connected to the HFA II-i, change the HFA3 to Static IP:
•On HFA3, go to Setti
ngs > Network
•Go to: DHCP >
use slider to select: Disabled
• Enter the Static IP address assigned to the HFA3.
Note: The
HFA3 instruments NOT connected to an HFA II-i can remain as DHCP.
