End the First Test
Select Review Results to end the first test (if both eyes are being
tested). In the next screen:
• Show or hide the connecting isopter lines for each stimulus by
selecting or deselecting the stimulus in the Show Isopters me
nu.
• Select Sta
rt (Other) Eye to start testing for the other eye. Test data
for the first eye will be locally saved.
• Select Skip
(Other) Eye to go directly to the Results screen. The
skipped eye will not be shown.
• Select Res
tart Test to delete the results and test the first eye again.
Confirm your choice.
• Select Return to T
est to go back to testing.
• Select Cancel for cancellation
options.
Test the Second Eye
The Te
st screen displays for the second eye. Set up the patient and test the second eye following the
same procedures used for the first eye.
When the second eye is complete, select Re
view Results. From the next screen, show or hide
isopters, cancel the test, restart the test, return to testing, or end the test.
Note: To cancel the entire test, manually delete the results from the first eye. See “Delete Tests,” on
page 6-4 to do this on the instrument. If the instrumen
t is set up to export data to FORUM,
manually export data to the server (Setting
s > Network > Manual data export), and delete the
exam from FORUM. Results from the first eye should also be manually exported if the second eye
exam fails.
Final Results
Select End Test for the final review of both eyes before saving. In the
Results sc
reen:
• To view isopters select Is
opters to expand the Isopters box for each
eye. Show or hide the connecting isopter lines for each stimulus by
selecting or deselecting the stimulus. Tap the top of the Isopters box
again to close the box.
• Add Not
e to the test if desired.
• Select or deselect report formats fr
om the Reports drop-down list.
• Select Cancel for cancellation
options.
• Select Sav
e and Exit to complete the test. Selected reports will be
printed and/or exported automatically.
Preset Kinetic Tests
Preset Kinetic test patterns can be run on the HFA3. An example
of a preset test pattern is the
authorized Social Security Administration (SSA) test. To create a test pattern, refer to “Create Kinetic
Test Pattern,” on page 4-23.
