3. Place the cylinder lens, if indicated, in the slot farthest away from the patient and
align the axis (C).
Patient Setup
1. Occlude the non-test eye.
2. Position the patient. Patients are most comfortable if sitting more or less erect.
3. Instruct the patient using the instructions shown on the
screen.

4. Touch the center of the pupil, indicated by a red X when not centered to the lens, in
the Live Eye monitor, or use the manual chin rest switch, to move the chin rest and
align the eye to the center of the lens target, indicated by a green plus sign. Pupil is
correctly centered to the lens when the plus sign (+) and the x sign (x) overlap to form
a green star ( ).
5. The Back butt
on returns to the previous screen. Select Next to proceed.
Place chin on the appropriate side of the chin rest.
Move chair close to the instrument.
