POST PROCESSING OF BUILD PARTS
Due to the large size of the ProX 800 build platform and the potentially large size of printed parts, it is highly recommended
to post-process parts with a two-RAMCO system, one lled with TPM (Tripropylene Glycol Methyl Ether) and the other with IPA
(Isopropyl Alcohol). A RAMCO is machine that agitates 3D parts in different liquids to remove uncured resin.
WHEN WORKING WITH GREEN MATERIAL (THAT WHICH IS NOT FULLY CURED) IT IS IMPORTANT TO WEAR
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SUCH AS SAFEFTY GLASSES, FACE SHIELDS, GLOVES, AND LAB COATS. IT IS ALSO
NECESSARY TO USE THE PROPER METHODS OF DISPOSAL OF 3D-PRINT WASTE MATERIAL.
NOTE: Do not simply remove the parts from the build platform without rst removing the build platform from
the machine and performing all these steps. Removing parts while they are still in the machine could cause build
debris to end up in the MDM and cause damage to future builds.
1. Wearing nitrile gloves, move the build platform onto the RAMCO containting TPM (RAMCO P/N MK32CSS/HDX) and secure
the platform to the RAMCO’s platform with vice grips. Start the RAMCO and allow the system to clean the part(s) for up to 40
minutes.
13
Move build platform from ooad cart onto RAMCO platform.
Secure platform in place at both vice-grip points: front-left and back-right.
Push green button on RAMCO console. Platform will dip down and begin TPM bath.
