Open the oil plug filling.
WARNING
If the oil plug filling is not open when the oil
dispenser is working, there is a risk of
damaging vital parts in the gearbox!

Using a low air pressure, start sucking the
oil out from the gearbox with the oil ejector
equipment.

Time consuming activity!
Only valid if an oil dispenser is not used:
If an oil dispenser is not used, open the oil
plug draining and drain oil into an oil collect-
ing vessel.

Used oil is hazardous material and must be
disposed of in a safe way. See section De-
commissioning on page 329 for more inform-
ation.

There will be some oil left in the gearbox
after draining.

Refit the oil plug draining.
Note
Only valid for Other design than Type C:
Before refitting the oil plug in the gearbox,
always replace the oil plug sealing washer
with a new one. If not there is a risk of
leakage.
