Inspection, mechanical stops
The procedure below details how to inspect the additional mechanical stops on axes 1and 3.
Action Note
1.
DANGER!
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and pneumatic
pressure supplies to the robot!
2. Check the additional stops on axes 1 and 3 for
damage.
Shown in the figure Location of
mechanical stops on page 115.
3. Make sure the stops are properly attached.
Correct tightening torque, mechanical stop axis 1:
120 Nm.
4. If any damage is detected, the mechanical stops
must be replaced!
Correct attachment screws (lubricated with Molycote
1000):
• Axis 1: M12 x 40
• Axis 3: M6 x 16
