8.7 Special tools
General
All service instructions contain lists of tools required to perform the specified
activity. The required tools are a sum of standard tools, defined in the section
Standard toolkit on page 596, and of special tools, listed directly in the instructions
and also gathered in this section.

Note
If the replacing procedure is not listed in the table below, only standard tools are
needed for the procedure.

24 VDC power supply-
Calibration toolbox, Axis Calibration3HAC074119-001
Delivered as a set of calibration tools.
Required if Axis Calibration is the valid calibration
method for the robot.
Sonic tension meter-
Used for measuring the timing belt tension.
Dynamometer-
Used for measuring the timing belt tension.
IRB 930 auxiliary shaft3HAC087847-001
Used to install the ball screw nut.
Special tool for L2
Sealing press tool3HAC087848-001
Used to install the sealing ring.
