Fluid Level screen (Figure 16) appears. The screen displays the fluid
levels in both the system fluid and the waste bottles as calculated by the
system from usage. Press and hold the Reset button for at least three
seconds to reset the fluid level after changing the system fluid bottle or
emptying the waste bottle. Press the Prime button to draw fluid into
the system after changing the system fluid bottle, or if the fluid system
tubing has been emptied in any other way.
NOTE The software displays a message when approximately 50 mL
of system fluid remains in the bottle so that you can plan on
replacing it with a full bottle. The software displays a second
message when approximately 20 mL remains in the bottle. At
this point the bottle must be replaced and the fluid level reset
as described in Chapter 1, Step 9.
NOTE The software displays a message when approximately 900 mL
of fluid is in the waste bottle so that you can plan on emptying
it. The software displays a second message when approximate-
ly 950 mL is in the bottle. At this point the bottle must be
emptied and the fluid level reset as described in Chapter 1,
Step 9.
