button on the message screen when the tube is inserted. This button
may be used either when the system is in “Ready” state, or when a
batch test is being performed.
Menu button
The Menu button displays the Menu screen (Figure 14), described later
in this chapter.
Tubes Remaining button
The Tubes Remaining button displays the number of unused osmome-
ter sample tubes remaining. When the button is pushed, the screen
shown in Figure 15 is displayed. The tube display is similar to the pri-
mary tube display, but in this case empty circles indicate empty posi-
tions, green circles mean unused tubes, and gray circles mean used
tubes. The Reload button on the Turntable screen may be used to initi-
ate a scan of the turntable to find available sample tubes. Note that the
scan cannot distinguish unused tubes from used ones, and ALL tubes
must be unused before the reload is initiated.
Fluid Level button
The icon inside the Fluid Level button represents an estimate of the
amount of system fluid left in the bottle. If the button is pushed, the
