O comes with a set of commonly used built-in protocols.
The built-in protocols are indicated with a “•” in front of the name in the
list.
Save button
Pressing the Save button saves the changes made to a “Named
Protocol”. Changes cannot be made to or saved for a “Built-In” proto-
col.
Save As button
Pressing the Save As button saves the changes made to the settings on
this screen as a new “Named Protocol”. A text input screen will be dis-
played to enter the new protocol name.
Delete button
Pressing the Delete button deletes a “Named Protocol”. Deleting a
built-in Named Protocol can only be performed if the Allow
Delete of
Built-ins button on the Test Configuration screen is checked.
Supervisor mode
If the Only Supervisors can modify button on the Test Configuration
screen (Figure 18) is checked, the Supervisor Mode button must be
checked to make any changes on this screen. When the button is
pushed, a text input screen to enter the user name and also possibly for
the password will be displayed.
Replicates per Sample
Specifies how many measurements will be made from each primary
tube that contains a sample (i.e., contains neither a reference nor control
solution).
Replicates per Control
Specifies how many measurements are made from each primary tube
that contains a reference or control solution.
Range for Tests
The two buttons in this section are used to select the range (Low or
Full) for all tests. The instrument must be calibrated for the range
