Replacing the Inlet Valve
Replacing the Inlet Valve
When If Inlet valve is defective.
Tools required p/n Description
Wrench, 14 mm
5067-5688 Torque wrench 1 – 25 Nm with 14 mm wrench
Parts required p/n Description
G4204-60022 Inlet Valve Quaternary Pump/Flexible Pump
Preparations • Switch off pump at the main power switch
• Remove the front cover
• Use an optional solvent shutoff valve or lift up solvent filters inside solvent bottles for avoiding
leakages
• Remove the inlet weaver, see “Replacing the Inlet Weaver” on page 151

With a 14 mm wrench, unscrew the inlet valve and
remove it.

Install the new inlet valve and tighten it using a torque
wrench with a 14 mm bit set to 10 Nm.
