System Time Elements
The system clock maintains time according to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Configure
information time zone and summer time (daylight savings time) parameters to correctly
display time according to the local time zone.
Time elements include:
• Zone
• Summer Time Conditions
• NTP
• SNTP
Zone
The zone command sets the time zone and/or time zone offset for the router. The router
supports system-defined and user-defined time zones. The system-defined time zones are
listed in Table 39.
CLI Syntax: config>system>time
zone std-zone-name | non-std-zone-
name [hh [:mm]]
Example: config>system>time#
config>system>time# zone GMT
The following example displays the zone output:
