LLDP Ethernet Port Commands
lldp
Syntax lldp
Context config>port>ethernet
Description This command enables the context to configure Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) parameters on
the specified port.
dest-mac
Syntax dest-mac {bridge-mac}
Context config>port>ethernet>lldp
Description This command configures destination MAC address parameters.
Parameters bridge-mac — Specifies destination bridge MAC type to use by LLDP.
Values nearest-bridge — Specifies to use the nearest bridge.
nearest-non-tpmr — Specifies to use the nearest non-Two-Port
MAC Relay (TPMR).
nearest-customer — Specifies to use the nearest customer.
admin-status
Syntax admin-status {rx | tx | tx-rx | disabled}
Context config>port>ethernet>lldp>dstmac
Description This command specifies the administratively desired status of the local LLDP agent.
Parameters rx — Specifies the LLDP agent will receive, but will not transmit LLDP frames on this port.
tx — Specifies that the LLDP agent will transmit LLDP frames on this port and will not store any
information about the remote systems connected.
tx-rx — Specifies that the LLDP agent will transmit and receive LLDP frames on this port.
