System Timing
In the event that network timing is required for the synchronous interfaces in the router, a
timing subsystem is utilized to provide a clock to all synchronous interfaces within the
system.
This section describes the commands used to configure and control the timing subsystem.

• Using the Revert Command

• Forcing a Specific Reference
Edit Mode
To enter the mode to edit timing references, you must enter the begin keyword at the
config>system>sync-if-timing# prompt.
Use the following CLI syntax to enter the edit mode:
