7.4 Mobile GPS Mode Operations
Mobile GPS Mode Operations is the default mode if the GPS function is enabled. In this mode,
the instrument will log a GPS position fix with every Standard Active Breath Test when the
BrAC reading is displayed. The GPS position fix will then be logged with the test reading (Refer
Figure 71).
Figure 71 - GPS Position Displayed in Records
If there is no location fix then Location Unknown is logged against the test reading, the default time
for locating a GPS position fix is set to 120 seconds. If a GPS fix is not located within this period,
then Location Unknown is recorded.
On Mobile Mode, the instrument will log a GPS position fix with Standard Active Breath Test based
on the reading. The choice has the following three options:
Positive test which will record the location only on positive readings,
All tests which will record the location on zero and positive readings, or
Threshold which will only record the location on readings above a defined threshold.
Note
If the instrument is configured to record a GPS fix operation will only occur when a reading is
above zero BrAC.
