Prepare the CompactLogix Hardware Chapter 1
1769-L32C or 1769-L35CR controllers
Required for all CompactLogix controllers
Connect a ControlNet tap to port
A of the controller.

1. Connect the 1756-CP3 cable to the channel
0 serial port on the controller.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a
COM port on the computer.
