Error Handling
If there is no error-handling code in your program, undetected errors can cause unpredictable results.
This includes "hanging up" the controller and forcing you to reset the system. Both of the above
libraries have routines for detecting program execution errors.
Important: Use error detection throughout your application program.
3.3 RS232C Interface
RS-232C remote control interface is made through a 9-contact Subminiature-D connector located on
the rear panel; refer to Table 3-1 for signal descriptions. The power source functions as Data Circuit-
terminating Equipment (DCE). The cable connecting to the Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) should be
straight-through (one-to-one contact connections).
