Procedure:
1. Perform Zero/Cal on the Sensor and power meter.
On the ML2438A power meter, zero the sensor and set the calibration factor of the sensor to 600 MHz.
2. Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 2-5. The splitter will be used as an RF combiner (the normal
RF output connections will become input connections, and the normal input connection will become the
RF output connection).
3. Set the MG3692x Synthesized Signal Generator to 599.951 MHz CW, and the Agilent 8648D Signal
Generator to 600.051 MHz.
