Joystick for dental chair movements (3).
It controls the following movements:
A Dental chair seat up.
B Dental chair backrest up.
C Dental chair seat down.
D Dental chair backrest down.
To stop movement, release the control joystick.
• All the buttons used to move the dental chair are inoperative
when an instrument is removed and the foot control lever is
actuated.
The setting made by the Technical Service allows changing the joystick
operation when the instruments are extracted but not active:
A Operating light ON/OFF control.
B Micromotor rotation direction reversal ON/OFF control, scaler
ENDO function activation, camera MIRROR function enabling.
C Instrument memory change.
D Activation from FLUO LED to WHITE LED, and vice versa, with
micromotor in RESTORATIVE mode.
Peristaltic pump activation ON/OFF control in the other modes.
Left-hand button operation (4).
With instrument removed
• Long press (at least 2 seconds): sends a jet of air to the instruments
(Chip air); the jet stops when the button is released.
With instruments at rest
• Long press: calls up the patient rinse position.
Pressing the button a second time returns dental chair back
into working position.
Right-hand button operation (5).
With instrument removed
• Long press (at least 2 seconds): sends a jet of water to the instruments
(Turbine, Micromotor and Scaler) (Water Clean System function); the
jet stops when the button is released.
With instruments at rest
• Long press (at least 2 seconds): calls up the dental chair reset
position.
WIRELESS version.
This foot control can also be supplied in wireless version (see Paragraph 5.2.4).
Protection against liquid penetration.
The foot control is protected against liquid penetration. Degree of protection: IPX1.
Cleaning.
Clean the foot control using a suitable product (see Paragraph 1.5).
If the foot control slips on the floor, remove any dust from the slip-proof rubber found under the base with a dry cloth.
